Children's imaginary pets.

Hello Hivians. How's the week? I hope as well as I do. I'm a little hungover from the carnival although there's still a lot of week ahead and the kids never seem to get tired. They have so much energy that they even dress up their pets and they are prohibited from doing so. Poor animals deserve aesthetic respect.

And that made me think about pets. When I was little I didn't have a pet. I lived in a small house and there were many of us so a pet literally couldn't fit. Furthermore, there was no money to feed and care for her.
But that's not a limit for a girl. When you are a child, your imagination takes you where your reality cannot and I believed myself to be my own imaginary pet. I won't tell you the name because that is too personal and I think a little ridiculous. But I will tell you that it was a dragon. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I saw "The Neverending Story" in the cinema and later I would read the novel.

I guess he thinks I'm an imaginary pet like others think they're an imaginary friend. I had many friends, maybe too many, so I didn't need another one, but I did need a faithful pet.
