MORE BEER for HIVE

Hey dear beer community, here is a short update for the beloved BEER token and the usage.

image.png

BEER is a unique present for something great a hive user did

It took us a lot of discussions and we agreed within the group of supporters.

image.png

Please use the BEER command only alone and don't mix this with other "!" commands

Means, we changed our bot a while ago for this issue. We see a few users who like to give what they can give for free with just one command where a lot of tokens are mixed together.

As we like to see BEER as a unique present, the bot skips all calls with more than one "!" command.

We know that not everyone like to love this decision, but I guess that other tokens will go soon into the same direction.

Some weekly statistics

A big thank you to @achimmertens who runs since a few month a weekly statistic on all the BEER activities

See his latest post at the Beer Community https://peakd.com/c/hive-187719/created where he shows each week the Weekly Statistics for the Beerbot and the Weekly Statistics For The $BEER Token

Weekly Statistics for the Beerbot

Weekly Statistics For The $BEER Token

Here you see who bought and sold how much beer.

What you need to know

Since the start of the community orientated project BEER token, the @beerlover is doing a continuous AIRDROP of several 10000 token to all the User and friends of the BEER fully free of charge. You only need to have some amount of BEER token staked to earn the daily Proof of Stake and to be able to use the "!" BEER command.

what do you need to use beer.png

Calling to all friends of BEER

we are around 4100 holders of that token and this means a first nice and small start. Let's see what comes next.

Do you know the legal name of @themarkymark ???? It is needed to contact his local police station. Any information to his whereabouts would be much appreciated.

I enjoy the !BEER command, sometimes I use it with the other drink commands (like !WINE), but from now on i'll reserve it just for special occasions.

Hi @beerlover. How many BEER tips can be given daily?

I think the changes are excellent.

For each box of Beer you staked (a box are 24 beer) you can call once a day the beer command.

If you staked 100 you can call 4 times and so on.

@beerlover

Your TOKEN, your rules for one. But I see nothing wrong with your choice. The only "con" per say, would be using extra RC for the extra comment (to call-out other TOKENS). But I think that point is moot, in comparison to what this change symbolizes!

I don't have enough BEER staked yet. But I can send you some !LUV

Good morning! I'm pretty new in Hive and have basically very little idea about tokens. I just want to make sure I understand, I can continue using the !BEER command as I have, but without any extra commands, right?

Thank you!

Sorry, you don't have enough staked BEER in your account. You need 24 BEER in your virtual fridge to give some of your BEER to others. To view or trade BEER go to hive-engine.com

Yes, but you need to have at least 24 BEER staked to use !BEER once a day

If you have any more questions - just ask!

Hi @detlev and thanks for the answer! Earlier today I bought 25 Beer and I staked them. Did I understand you right, with that amount I can ONLY use the command ONCE a day?

In my humble opinion a lot of tokens will get lost with such a sudden changes and you're adding more difficulties to the whole "Hive-world" than it already has. I mean with this, how people will keep up with what all tokens are doing and more importantly how someone who is new will understand and learn about all of this?.... For the rest still !LUV you @detlev Soon I hope to participate again in a Beer Saturday!

As shown below: 24 BEER need to be staked for one call per day

Please help:

I have 214.37944704 staked beer and after the 2nd call I get a message saying I need to stake more beer. I'm close to having 9 calls per day, yet I'm being allowed just ONE.

I probably would be at 9 calls now if I didn't miss 2 months worth due to not knowing about the changes made.

I'm pretty sure at one time I was able to call the beer bot 10 times per day, but I'm not sure what has happened between then and now.

Many of the other tipping tokens show the current number of calls for the day out of the total number of calls the poster has available right in the response to each time the bot is called. For example, if this is the second call of the day and the poster has a maximum of 7 calls per day, the response will show (2/7). The first time the bot is called, it would have shown (1/7). This way there is no doubt about where each person stands with regard to the allowable usage, regardless of time differences and daily resets. If the bot has not yet rolled into the next day, the poster will immediately see that the counter has not yet been reset.

Most tipping bots also respond with links to Hive-Engine and a link that has information about bot usage. Notices are also incorporated directly into the bot responses.

Prost!
