One thoroughly at home in the harsh world of university social climbing and project budgets. They knew that if he wasn't suitably impressed, the whole dig would be closed down for good.

Tiffany knew she was running for her life, the beast was coming after her. Cold sweat slicked her skin, her heart hammering so hard it felt like it might burst out of her chest. Her legs ached, threatening to give out as she ran deeper into the forest.

She had been trained as a police officer and by chance, a criminal investigation course she had taken some time ago just to kill her free time, had placed her in this time and place.

And this does not have to be an outlaw story per see, but catching the spirit of the western is important! Good luck cowboys!

But cowboys... oh gosh, I don't think I've ever written anything Western-themed. The hard bit will be coming up with something original that doesn't just parrot one of the great spaghetti westerns, and doing it without the help of one of Morricone's incredible soundtracks.
It is interesting... but an interesting theme!
