My Actifit Report Card: October 8 2025

Znowu nie wyrobiłem się raportem w ciągu doby, ale musicie mi wybaczyć. Dzisiaj wybraliśmy się do Jabal Ṭāriq tj zamorskiego terytorium Wielkiej Brytanii na półwyspie Iberyjski - Gibraltar. Jeśli mam być szczery to nie wiem, czy jazda 4,5h w jedną stronę była warta zachodu. Z jednej strony, jest to teren Imperium co do którego mam pewien sentyment, ale z drugiej zaś mam poczucie niesprawiedliwości. Urodzisz się w takim miejscu i od razu, miejsca jesteś ustawiony. Zarabiasz według dobrych stawek, ale kupujesz obok w Hiszpanii, gdzie jest taniej. Wszystkie proste pracę wykonują Hiszpanie. To wszystko przeszkodziło mi w usiądnięciu na jednej z malowniczych uliczek przy piwku.

I haven't managed to get the report out in 24 hours yet, but you'll have to forgive me. Today we went to Jabal Ṭāriq, the British overseas territory on the Iberian Peninsula—Gibraltar. To be honest, I'm not sure the 4.5-hour drive each way was worth it. On the one hand, it's part of the Empire, which I have a certain fondness for, but on the other, I feel a sense of injustice. You're born in a place like this, and you're immediately set. You earn good wages, but you buy next door in Spain, where it's cheaper. All the menial work is done by Spaniards. All this prevented me from sitting down on one of the picturesque streets for a beer.
