My Actifit Report Card: March 26 2026

The spring is definitely here and lots of trees are flowering. The weather seems to be getting warmer as well and the grass is growing again.

I took this picture above while waiting for my wife to pick me up on the way to pick up our daughter from school.

I am ready for the spring and warmer weather. Hopefully we have a great summer. The weather is going to get warmer soon and that is predictable.

What is going to happen in the world is a lot less predictable. Right now we have markets still holding up and economy seems to be fine, but I don't think that it is going to stay that way.

The war and oil prices are going to increase inflation and the economy is going to get weaker and eventually the equity markets are going to catch up and we are going to have a major recession.

I wonder what is going to happen with the mid term elections, are we even going to have free elections? If the war with Iran is still going I don't see the party that is in power staying in power and they might try to stay in power.

I definitely didn't expect the war in middle east. I would have thought that republicans are going to pump up the economy by cutting the interest rates in order to stay in power.

But I guess that our current administration is setting records in terms of incompetence and inability to govern effectively. Could be a downside of having a single person in charge and thinking he is all knowing and actually being unqualified for the job.

Hopefully this war in Iran is going to end soon, it is enough that the war in Ukraine is dragging on for over four years now...
