Another intense day at work, and I managed to get a lot accomplished, including updating Identity Server from version seven to version eight. Also, I scheduled a meeting with our software as a service vendor to push them into upgrading SOLR from version eight to version nine tomorrow.
In the morning, after our scheduled stand-up, I will have a demo for our development team on how to upgrade the Identity Server and will run it in our Stage environment while upgrading it.
They still want me to do it in the production environment after I am back next week. But at least the rest of the team will see how it is done. Our security team is very happy with the progress this week.
After work, I and my daughter went to pick blackberries. In a very short time, we managed to pick quite a few as you see in the cover image.
My wife made us a really nice smoothie from some of the blackberries and banana and yogurt. She added a few other ingredients as well.
When we were picking blackberries, we came up from the other side of our fence, and she got on top of my shoulders and screamed to my wife to come out on the back porch. The wife could not hear her until I called her on my cell phone π
My daughter said it was really fun. We proceeded to plan a picnic together in the near future. Wife, of course, wanted to join in, I guess we just like to do everything together.
As you see from the pictures, our tomatoes finally started ripening. We have been eating them one or two and sometimes three per da for the last few weeks, and now we finally have quite a few ripening at once.
Everyone is really enjoying them. We had them in Omlette and just cut up on the plate. We should make a salad from them as well with Ukrainian sunflower oil.
I didn't get very many steps today, but at least I got over five thousand steps. Some days are just less active than others.
While I was working, our daughter had her friend come over, and the girls had lots of fun hanging out together. They were very quiet for twelve year Olds.
It was a great day, and tomorrow, I will be back to work! It will be Thursday, so just a couple days until the weekend.

My mom and dad had some nice tomatoes growing in their garden this year and the other night some deer came along and ate them all :P
Oh! That would be devastating to me. Good thing we have it completely enclosed in our backyard with six foot fence and a giant rock wall, hopefully no dear... We do have rabbits and birds and slugs, but none have been a problem this year so far...
I think my dad thought it was funny. My mom not so much!
Your garden did very well this year, my friend!ππ
Nothing more tasty than tomatoes that you grow yourselves!
Thursday alreadyβ¦β¦. The weekend is very close!π€
Yep! It really did very well this year. Not sure what it is, if it is a better weather or a new way I am tying up the bushes using a two support rod strategy. One didn't held and they were falling over.
Living in the foothills tomatoes are about the only thing we can grow successfully Lol!π
Enjoy those delicious tomatoes my friend!π€

I was right, your tomatoes look really healthy and I envy you for the yellow ones. I need to look around to see if I can buy some seeds as we've only had yellow cherry tomatoes and black as well, but not the big ones.
Blueberries we had some years back but did not resist. I don't know why.
I have grown mine from seeds that I got from Rare Seeds: https://www.rareseeds.com/store/plants-seeds/vegetable-seeds/heirloom-tomato-seeds
The big yellow ones I love, the smaller striped yellow ones are my daughter's favorite :) I also liked Raspberry Luana tomatoes the last two years, but this years crop doesn't seem to taste as sweet as before. They are the medium sized tomato that looks like this:

We always have 4 or 5 types but I'm not sure I know the English name of them. If you're interested, I can research them.
One of them is this, it's my favorite π
