On the image above, you can see the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. When I was in Mexico a few years ago, I took my son and my mother on a glass bottom boat tour to the Arch of Cabo San Lucas.
It was one of the more memorable trips during our vacation in Mexico. From our hotel, we took a tour bus to the Cabo San Lucas Marina, where we boarded a glass bottom boat for our excursion.
The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is located at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula. Our tour guide told us that this is the location where Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean come together.
We approached the Arc pretty close and then stopped by the Lover's Beach, which can be only accessed by the boat, and you can see it in the images below.
It was a perfect weather day, very sunny and hot. Over ten years passed after that memorable day, but I still fondly remember it.
I did some snorkeling and took lots of pictures, some of which I am sharing in this post. My son was fairly young at this time, and we did some running around and climbing on the rocks.
The trip didn't start quite as lovely. This was my son's first time outside the United States of America.
When we first arrived in Mexico, we quickly boarded the bus to our beach all-inclusive hotel. On the way to the hotel, we passed through some really sketchy neighborhoods.
As we were riding the bus , I observed that my son became very quiet and was glued to the window. He definitely never saw anything like that in his life.
When we finally arrived at our hotel, it looked really nice with a gated entrance and wonderful landscaping.
And he exhaled and said: "We can survive here!" And survive we did with lots of food, music and even a mini water park that our son was really fond of.
On the beach right outside our hotel, there were some beach vendors trying to sell stuff to us, but in general, it was really nice.
Compared to the hotel we stayed in at Jamaica, the beach was open, and you could walk for a while just like you would in California or Florida. But in Jamaica, the beach was enclosed with security towers on both sides.
It definitely felt less safe in Jamaica compared to Mexico.
We loved our vacation in Mexico 🇲🇽
As far as my walking yesterday I didn't get to ten thousand steps as I felt a bit under weather. Today I cut grass right before a rare Thunder Storm hit Seattle area and we went for over a thirty minute walk which together resulted in over ten thousand steps.
I should really try to get back to walking ten thousand steps a day consistently.
Today one of my fellow Splinterlands players suggested that I should pick up some gadgets in Actifit market and after looking briefly at those I noticed that it does seem to have sense to buy them with Actifit tokens and get increased Actifit token rewards!
I am thinking of picking some up tomorrow. What do you think?

Beautiful pictures! I've never been to Mexico.
Nice job with your 7031 @actifit steps for the day. Take care and enjoy!
It has been a little while since I visited Mexico, but we really loved it. It was a short flight like 3.5 hours from Seattle. You should definitely visit Cabo :)
Maybe someday. For now, we seem to be homebodies! Take care!
Beautiful photos my friend looks like you had a wonderful time!!😄
Very odd to have thunderstorms rolling through Seattle, right now our son in North Bend is under a thunderstorm alert!
Congratulations on your 7K @actifit steps today!!👍😄
Yes, it is more like Kansas than Seattle :)
I remember the first thunderstorm we had when we moved up here years ago……
Everyone stopped work at the company and stared out the window thunderstorm happened so infrequently!🙄
Nice pics of your memorable Mexico vacay. The water and sky are cool shades of blue.
I buy the actifit gadgets sometimes. I have not done a cost/benefit analysis, I just do it for fun and to support the community I guess. :) Try it and see if you like it!
I did get some and will see in this post later on how it works.

I was supposed to go to Cabo a couple of summers ago, but we ended up not going for a number of reasons. I'm kind of sad we didn't because it looks beautiful, but maybe I will still get there one day. My brother in law has a timeshare down there and they go every year pretty much.
It is a very nice place for a relaxing vacation, you should go.
