I’m his favourite piece of furniture - My Actifit Report Card: April 7 2026
After a few days’ rest, today I had to pop into town to buy some things we needed at home: medicines for my grandmother and my aunt, household bits and bobs, and food for humans and cats. And speaking of cats, I was absolutely knackered from the whole trip, on top of the chores I’d already done that morning, so I sat down to rest, but my cat Hermosú can’t stand seeing me sitting down because he always finds a way to sit on my lap. This time I didn’t want to carry his one-and-a-half-kilo weight 🤣 so I sat crouched down, but that didn’t stop him from climbing wherever he pleased.
He sat on my back, on my shoulder, on my hips and on part of my legs; the thing is, any part of my body will do for his naps. It made me laugh to see him changing position because, in the end, I know he was just looking for the spot where he felt most comfortable. In the end, he won because I spent my 10-minute break with him on top of me and, as my mum says, it’s my own fault for putting up with it, hehehe, but I just can’t resist his charms.
