There's so much to do in the first days on a holiday, we started with driving to the city center, visit the castle there and then bought groceries and did some shopping.

The castle looks amazing, unfortunately it's closed at the moment, I think because of maintenance work.

The price of groceries is 30 to 50% less in most cases than in my country, pretty crazy considering the border is only a one hour drive from where we live.
Unfortunately, the way the parking lot looks when you need a parking disk that shows your time of arrival, in my country there are blue lines sprayed on the road so it's easy to see, I didn't see the small blue signs that we're pretty obvious in hindsight so I got a €20 'warning fine'... Welcome to Germany 😕

Tomorrow morning we'll be on the bikes for the first time abroad 🙂
