At work we have two special stair robots that can 'walk' loads up to 140kg up the stairs so we don't have to lift it anymore, great invention!
My colleague took one with him for another job but he took both newer batteries, they are both equipped with a small display that tells you the battery capacity that's left, and so only the older battery was left, it's old and doesn't have a display - that didn't feel right but of course the colleague who has used it the last time would've made sure it's charged.... RIGHT!?
So, on the FIRST step on the stairs the warning light 'low battery' started to flash, with 12 more steps to go I didn't want to test HOW empty it was so we had to stop and my colleague had to go here at the end of his route, it was his own mistake but he wasn't very happy with it 🫣
