Scavenge Sunday and a long walk - November 17 2024

Like most Sundays I started with a bicycle ride in my village collecting cans and bottles to buy @splinterlands shards with, since it's literally free money and sps being this low I'm trying to get as much as possible from it.

After playing some more battles when I got home and drinking coffee my daughter asked me to go on a walk with her, the weather forecast predicted rain but the sun was shining so we went out on the longest and prettiest route we have around our village.

Beautiful fall colors on the trees, it's a joy to walk outside now although the wind is a bit cold, it's such a difference walking in the middle of a field without any protection from the wind or when the wind is stopped by houses or a tree line.

Hmmm... It's raining over there dad, my daughter said... The wind is coming from the other side so that won't reach us, I replied...

Well I shouldn't have said that, after ten minutes we were walking in the rain 😅

We came across a bunch of willows, all hollow inside, I wonder how that happened and also how they are still alive, without the center, but it's a good shelter for small animals!
