Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday wasn't very interesting in terms of outdoor activities. The weather was too gray and hot, first day of the year reaching in the low 80s F (around 28C). It was also heavy and humid, like a summer thunderstorms kind of day. And the storms overnight confirmed it. But we did spend a little time outside with Le Chat of course.

Also checking out the yard with plenty of signs winter is probably really over, although I am sure we'll get a few of these late April and May freezes, like only Michigan can deliver. By the way, these daffodils are really resilient, they get mowed down at least a couple times every year (not intentionally of course) and yet every Spring, here they are, even bigger every year actually!

Once again, I had late afternoon meetings, so we couldn't really walk all the way to the bigger forest. Not to mention I was worried about the rain. So we just went to the small forest.

Kaia was waiting for a green light.

Of course, you can go and explore!

Like I was saying recently, even without trails, we can still walk almost everywhere in the forest, but we're starting to see a lot more green, and soon it will all be covered, making it more difficult to walk through.

On the way back, Le Chat was waiting for us at the forest entrance this time, such an intense gaze...

Again, she ate a lot of grass, under the very serious supervision of Kaia, checking in all directions.

That's until I told her, let's go for a quick loop in the neighborhood. In the excitement, she almost stepped on Le Chat! And look at Le Chat's face, why would I go with you?...

Just a short loop in the neighborhood to close this walk.

Well, not a very active day. Luckily I could stay on my feet and pace during some of my meetings, so my step count stays clear of the bar for the #poprzeczka competition. Still a clean sheet, but it will start to be challenging now.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
