My Actifit Report Card: April 12 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday again, the day started a bit slow, just hanging out in the yard. But a group of deer was taunting Kaia from the other side of the fence.

So I gave her a frozen turkey neck to keep her busy for a while. These things have been in her freezer for way too long anyways, only a few left she needs to finish soon. I remember when Genepi used to eat those regularly, it's always impressive to see their sharp teeth crushing these frozen pieces with bones so easily. In less than 10 minutes, it was all gone! You really don't want one of your limbs to be there. Hence the need to properly train these big dogs.

Le Chat also had some treats and showed her content.

They were ready to play and explore then. Funny how Kaia's always careful, she knows Le Chat can decide for no reason to swat at her face!

Of course, no surprise, we started our daily walk at the small forest, before the sunset.

In spite of all the yawning, Kaia kept an eye on Le Chat, she makes sure she's the safest cat in the neighborhood!

But not when we go to the bigger forest obviously.

We arrived there before the sunset for once, and still had time to walk a few of the trails.

Just in time at our sunset spot near the street.

And finally one last cut through the forest to get us on our way back home.

Well, that was another easy-going day, but between that walk and the pacing during a few long phone calls, my final step count was pretty good. Still no running though, hopefully sometimes this week, even though it's already shaping up to be quite busy. We will see...
