Hey Actifitters,
Just like most weekends, it wasn't easy to get up yesterday. Like everybody else, Kaia didn't really want to get out of bed.

Even Le Chat when we found her outside seemed even more sleepy than usual.

But we had something planned for the evening, so we didn't waste too much time and went for a short walk, starting behind the front yard as usual.

As Le Chat was observing, Kaia went into the small forest.

We were too short on time to walk to the bigger forest anyways, so it was the best option Kaia chose.

When Le Chat joined us, very far into the forest, the furthest in a while for her, she and Kaia managed to mix in exploration and cuddles. They're just too funny.

Then it was time for Kaia's jumping session. Good way to burn lots of energy in a short time.

For the first time ever, Le Chat tried to copy her sister, in her own style though. No other cat like Le Chat!

Once again we were getting late, but we took the time to add a little distance in the neighborhood.

It's always a good opportunity to meet the squirrels, so many of them again.

Dark clouds were rolling in when we made it back home, and maybe 15 minutes later, it was heavy rain and thunder, good timing for once.

The main event for the day was in the evening with Bob Dylan concert at the Masonic Theater in Detroit. I'll be honest, I never really listened to Bob Dylan music, but it's a legend, and we just couldn't miss this event, especially at the Masonic, such a great venue. Unfortunately I don't have a single photo, because it was a phone-free event. You had to stash your phone in a special secured pouch and they would only open it when getting out. Of course, I would have liked a few photos, but that's also very nice not to see people recording the entire thing, instead of actually enjoying the experience. Anyways, the show itself was good but a little strange. He showed up with his band pretty much at the expected time, didn't say a word, just went songs after songs for about an hour and a half. The only words he said were to introduce his band members around the middle of the show. He was behind his piano the whole time, wearing a hoodie, we weren't even entirely sure it was him at first! So, a little different than the usual shows we go to, but the guy is pushing 85, so I guess he can perform however he wants to! And the songs were all great, although he didn't play any of the really famous ones.
And the rain had stopped when we got out, so we could hang out in Detroit by night a bit, especially around Comerica Park, and other places near Woodward Avenue.

And that was it, not my most active day, but it was nice, and finally a little outside our routine. Sunday should be quiet, and we'll see how next week goes.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
