My Actifit Report Card: January 9 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Like I mentioned in my previous report, the snow disappeared very quickly unfortunately. But a good surprise yesterday is that along with the greenery, we saw a little bit of blue sky during our morning walk with Sam.

Still cloudy over the hills when we started.

But by the time we were done with that first walk, it was mostly clear.

Fast forward a few hours, it was a very different situation, the same hills were in the clouds, and menacing ones.

We took the risk to go for another walk anyways.

Just as we started going uphill in the forest, I saw this cat clearly curious about us, but scared at the same time. I couldn't get much closer to it.

Sam didn't see it and just kept wandering on the trails.

When we reached the fields above, in spite of the clouds, the weather was still dry.

The hills were barely visible in the clouds and fog though.

We took the time to follow several trails and multiple loops around open fields.

Although he doesn't run like he used to, Sam had a few crazy runs. He looks so happy when that happens.

When we started on our way back, clouds became even darker and more menacing, until finally we felt a few rain drops. Luckily it stayed very light until after we got back home.

And once again, we finished the day visiting a few friends and family. More food, more drinks, more fun!
Just a few more days before I'll drive to another area, a couple days before my flight back home on Tuesday. Kind of a short trip but it's been nice so far.
