My Actifit Report Card: October 7 2025

Hey Actifitters,

After so many sunny days, we finally had some rain yesterday. The good news is it finally brought some chillier temperatures, I was really getting sick of summer refusing to leave. Rest of the week should be chilly and sunny, even better.

After the rain ended, we started our daily walk behind the front yard.

And as usual we headed to the bigger forest next. The fall colors almost look better with this grey sky.

Pretty much the same route inside the forest, just slightly muddier.

Just like I do, Kaia enjoys the cooler temperatures.

She has even more energy to chase the deer.

Since we started a little earlier than usual, we had enough daylight to walk further inside the forest, and check out more foliage.

But what was really cool was the sunset. I guess the sun waited all day to show up but it didn't hold back when it finally did.

We went for one more loop inside the forest before walking back.

I didn't want to miss some of these views. The entire sky was filled with beautiful colors. I thought we were too late to walk to the golf course, but it was probably a mistake because the view would have been even better.

We hadn't seen Le Chat all day, she was hiding from the rain somewhere outside, but she finally showed up in the evening. After a little food, she stayed lazy for a few minutes before disappearing outside again.

And that was it for the day's activities. With my Achilles feeling a little better and the cool sunny weather expected for the next few days, I'm really hoping to run on Wednesday and Thursday. That's the final training week before Detroit half marathon...
