My Actifit Report Card: August 23 2025

Hey Actifitters,

We started our first walk yesterday earlier than usual but again behind the front yard first, so Kaia and Le Chat can explore together.

Then we went to the forest of course.

The day had been mostly grey so far, but the sun decided to show up a little, through the leaves.

We found again multiple ghost pipes at various stages of decaying. These mushrooms/plants look really cool.

I think Kaia is still getting better, she even wanted to check out new off-trail areas.

That squirrel was funny. It was so focused on trying to eat whatever that was, it almost got caught by Kaia. It jumped in a tree at the very last second, and left Kaia disappointed again.

So much that she led us out of the forest and back home.

The plan was for an active rest of the day, with a run, maybe some yard work, and a cooldown walk. But I didn't check the weather forecast, and before I could start any of these activities, a storm broke out and it rained until much later. So even though I found a few things to do inside, my step count stayed way below the bar for #poprzeczka competition, last chance on Sunday, I'll need at least 24k steps.
