My Actifit Report Card: August 9 2025
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday morning started with a run before it really got too hot. Don't get me wrong, it was already hot but not very bad yet and I could complete an easy 5k, with a bit of walking in the middle though. Then swimming to cool down. Very active start of the day!
But it was really a scorcher, over 40C with a very bright sun! I know some people like it but for me, not fun! Of course, that meant plenty of time in the pool. Like I probably said already, I now really wish I had a pool back home. It's a project I need to look into, because we all know the weather ain't going to get cooler anytime soon unfortunately...
Even Sam didn't seem very motivated by the extreme heat.
Anyways, in the evening, we had a BBQ planned, but we switched to an air conditioned indoor dinner with as usual plenty of food and drinks! I mean we're in France, that's just the way!
And that was it for the day. Thanks to my run in the morning, my step count stayed above 10k steps, but that wasn't much. Planning a hike on Sunday to break the laziness trend...
