My Actifit Report Card: June 25 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was slightly less hot than the past few days, still hot and humid, but a little more bearable. Look how happy that made Le Chat...

It was grey and even rainy most of the day though, so we only had a few breaks in the yard.

And our daily walk came later when the sun was actually out.

Le Chat joined us behind the front yard of course.

She and Kaia just hung out there. That's just funny to me!

Kaia didn't seem to limp too much, so i guess she's getting better and that meant we could start a longer walk. We saw plenty of deer again on our way to the forest. Like I said in the past, it's always amazing to me to see so many deer. But I can also understand several cities in the area, including mine, decided to implement some sort of culling next year. There are just too many of them.

We didn't see the actual sunset but the entire sky was orange before we arrived in the forest.

Surprisingly it wasn't flooded in the forest, just muddy.

Even though it was a little better than the day before, Kaia was still suffering from the heat and humidity, and so did I!

But we took the time to check the final orange colors.

And finally started on our way back. I didn't feel like facing the mosquitoes again though, so we didn't cut through the forest as usual, and just followed its edge.

We added very little distance in the neighborhood because Kaia already looked like she had enough.

And that was it for the day. Even if it was slightly better temperature wise, the really high humidity still made it uncomfortable , and unfortunately more heat is on the way. This summer is really starting horribly, I am worried about July and August. But we will see.
