My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Another beautiful day yesterday and the activities were quite routine again. Even though the Moon was already high up in the sky, we did manage to start our daily walk a little earlier.

As often, when we went behind the yard, Kaia was in a really playful mood.

Lots of jumping around!

As often these days, Le Chat joined too, but she was more in an observation mood for once.

Speaking about cats, we met a new one when we arrived at the bigger forest entrance. Usually that's where we meet the first deer, but this time this black cat looked at us as we got there.

Of course Kaia wanted to meet it, but we continued to the trails.

Once again, I couldn't help it, we made a stop near these big puddles. This has become one of my favorite photo spots.

Of course we didn't stop there and followed more trails, even the flooded ones.

In the end, I also tried to catch the sunset, but it was already hiding behind the trees.

Just as we left the forest, two deer were there to wave us goodbye.

And two more were waiting for us in the front yard. Le Chat who wanted to meet us at the street as she does sometimes, got scared by a car (it's a very good thing she's terrified of cars, she stays very far from them) and ended up between the two deer. Can you see how menacing the female one is, stomping her feet and all. But no worries, Le Chat is smart, she evaded the situation!

And that was it for the day. Back above 20k steps, yay!! Let's try and keep it this way consistently now.
