My Actifit Report Card: February 2 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Seems we had another light snow dusting yesterday. Beautiful and perfect to cover all the icy patches!

When we arrived near the forest, we found these tracks. This is where the ice patch I showed the previous day was. Well, of course, it's still there, just hidden. Seems whoever walked here first was very cautious, sliding instead of walking, but seeing this mess on the right side, maybe that wasn't sufficient...

We were even more cautious and made it to the forest trails with no issue, at least no fall.

With the snow, I don't even mind grey and gloomy sky, it still looks beautiful.

Kaia almost caught a squirrel, it's not easy for them to flee in the snow. Luckily it could climb in a tree at the last second!

You'd think Kaia is safe on the ice with 4 legs, but what you're looking at on the photo below is an involuntary Kaia's snow angel... She fell hard! Poor girl was stunned for a few seconds before getting back up. She was fine, no apparent pain, but that was impressive.

Once again I was surprised no kid were at the playground, but I guess kids nowadays don't like cold weather like we did.

When Kaia led us out of the forest, even though we had walked less than most Sundays, it actually took us much longer than usual. But like I said, being very careful with every steps was a must. I had more than a dozen near falls.

It was also quite treacherous in the neighborhood streets, so our final loop was also shorter than usual.

Well, snow is great, but when it covers the dangerous icy patches, that's not as fun. We enjoyed our walk anyways of course.
