My Actifit Report Card: December 30 2024
Hey Actifitters,
The sun was back yesterday, so after a little bit of work in the morning, and in spite of several errands I had to run, we tried to spend time outdoor.
Le Chat was so happy she started dancing... Sorry, she was itchy I guess and she shook her head when I snapped the photo, but I still like the effect.
We started our long walk behind the front yard for the sunset.
Of course, Le Chat joined us there.
And Kaia couldn't let Le Chat explore by herself.
Before the sun was completely gone, we also wanted to get to the forest with Kaia of course. As soon as we got there, we meet a big deer. It was chilling quietly.
That's until I released the Kaia!
That's not the only time a quiet and serene scene was disturbed by a crazy German Shepherd chasing anything and everything!
And then she comes back trying to look all innocent...
We saw a few more deer just outside the forest, but we weren't on the trail, we were along the street and Kaia knew she wasn't supposed to chase them and she didn't! Okay, the fact she was probably tired helped her, but it's still pretty good for her to keep her predator instincts in check.
As often, we cut back through the forest one more time before heading back home.
But not before a few loops in the neighborhood at night.
And that was it for the day's activities. Definitely not enough to reach the bar for #poprzeczka competition, but not so bad for a slow day. Last chance on Tuesday (I think it will be doable, as I already have way more steps than I usually do at that time of the day). Also, by delaying the decision for ever, I essentially decided I will not fly to Europe on Tuesday, maybe in February, or March. I'll just keep an eye on the snow situation, because of course flying back to my hometown usually involves some skiing.
