Seeing forbidden things frequently, listening to sinful things, and being in various gatherings and environments of temptations destroys the sensitivity of the human heart. Gradually, such a veil falls on the heart that it becomes difficult to distinguish between right and wrong; forbidden begins to feel permissible, the injunctions of the Shariah seem harsh, and the arguments of the Shariah begin to seem narrow-minded. This is the dangerous stage where a person falls victim to temptation and slips from the path of guidance.
