(I took a picture of this freight train yesterday while out for a walk in my town. Does anyone have any idea what is transported in this type of container? Is it actually a freight train?)
Hi Actifitters,
I went to the orthopedist yesterday, hoping he could tell me something about the long-standing blockage in my left thigh area. Unfortunately, for the time being, the only advice he could give me was to let the tennis injury heal completely. Unlike my other orthopedist—who claimed the issues would be resolved within four weeks at most—he spoke of a recovery period of up to three months. So, I am remaining patient, regularly stretching the affected leg (several times a day), and hoping for the best. If I do not notice significant improvement by the end of August, I will see the doctor again.
There isn't much to report regarding physical activity. Since I took the day off work yesterday, I was able to run a few errands and combined that with a long walk through my hometown. It had been a while since I last did that, and I noticed that many old houses had been torn down. Multi-unit apartment complexes are now standing everywhere—or are currently under construction... there is clearly a shortage of housing.
Mission 80 (Day 24 = 89.1 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 0.9 kg)
There is nothing to report here. I have maintained my weight.
For today, I have planned a core stability workout—including pull-up training—and a session on the indoor trainer.

Good you continue active!! My knee left was painful for some months. I hear a specialist talking about the dangers on what most Doctors do (extreme cases): keep in bed, and that is what makes worse the function of buddy. After that decided to retake my running habit (it was some 3 or 4 years I stopped it). It’s been a month, unbelievable my knee pain is much more better. A couple of Doctors did advise me to walk less and light my bagpack. Now I realise, the problem was more related to the need of more activity. I try to walk the most possible, but any reason (maybe scare to damage my legs/knees) I was stopping my running.
Hopefully you get better soon!

I don't know the exact nature of your problem, but until three years ago, I couldn't walk downhill or go down stairs; my knee would start hurting immediately. When I started hiking, the muscles around my knee grew stronger, and the pain subsided. At first, I always took the cable car down the mountain. Nowadays, I actually enjoy the descent on foot more than the hike up. It seems that what conventional medicine tells us isn't always right.
I wish you all the best and hope the problems don't return.
Thank you very much
