Hi Actifitters,
given Garmin’s current assessment that I am overtraining, I took things easy yesterday. Although I trained for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes, I kept my heart rate within a moderate range.
In addition to a Zone 1 session on my indoor bike, my workout included close-grip push-ups and a triceps exercise. Even though I managed one more repetition than in my previous session, I am still two close-grip push-ups short of last week’s performance. As soon as I see improvement there, I will start tracking the numbers in a table again.
Mission 80 (Day 17 = 89.1 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 1.1 kg)
Since I dutifully exercised again yesterday and definitely ended the day with a calorie deficit, I’m really surprised to see the scale showing 1.1 kg more today than yesterday. Does anyone have an explanation for this? I certainly don’t. But oh well... no point dwelling on it. Just keep going!
Today is an office day again, which means I have limited time for training. However, to burn at least a few calories, I’ll try to fit in a session on my smart trainer.
