The temperature was set to be one of the hottest days so far, so we decided to set off on our mountain bike ride quite early to avoid the hottest part of the day.
Even the wild ducks and geese seemed to be conserving energy in this heatwave. The water looked very tempting, even though it was full of birds! 🤣
Continuing on our way, the breeze while moving was quite nice, but that of course all changes when you stop and realise how hot it really is.
The tree cover was also helpful. Luckily, on this off-road route, there was plenty of that in the forest and heavily wooded areas. It was gorgeous out there!
I absolutely love to go out cycling in all seasons, but I think the heat is the most challenging condition. If it is cold, at least you can speed up to keep warm! 😅.

Another lovely biking adventure! Sounds cool that you have a biking buddy this time around. I think that makes it more fun. 😆 Nice that the wild ducks and geese have the lake to keep cool. Happy week (and new month) ahead!
