Second day on holidays in France - My Actifit Report Card: August 24 2025

Hey dear actifitters and readers,

welcome to day two of my one week trip to the Atlantic ocean in France.

I was the first who got up. It was around 7am and I went for a walk to the beach.

Again only a few surfers riding the morning waves like the day before.

I enjoyed the surreal looking bunkers again and took some more pictures.

I bought croissants for breakfast and walked back to our tents.

We had breakfast and made a ten minute drive to the next village.

Saturday is market day. We did some shopping especially lokal food.

I tried oysters for the second time. The first time was almost 20 years ago and I didn't remember.

Oyster are not bad but not really good. I would try again if I stay at seaside but would not buy them at home or at a time restaurant far away from the sea.

In the afternoon we went to the beach again. My friends went swimming with their bodyboards.

I made a walk along the shore to the next groups of bunkers about two kilometres away.

They are fascinating and somehow weird.

Before leaving the beach we threw some discs and hat fun with the wind.

We reached our campsite at sunset. I really enjoyed the warm light reaching out between the trees.
