Season one, episode 6 had a sad ending. Thorfinn, the son of Thors, went on a scouting mission and collapsed. He was rescued by a mother and daughter. After they fed him, the mother cared for him like her own son; she had lost her son two years earlier, so she loved Thorfinn as if he were her own.

But Thorfinn had a mission. He told them to run before he left the house. Later, he burned the village and killed everyone who attacked him. The mother who had saved him saw him kill all the men. She just stood there, paralyzed, with tears streaming down her cheeks in disbelief. Thorfinn felt bad for burning the village.
