[PL / ENG] My Actifit Report Card: July 25 2026

W ramach zaległych urodzin odddaliśmy dzieci na nocowankę do cioci, a sami udaliśmy się na dobre jedzonko - w koreańskiej restauracji Daon w Katowicach. Było pysznie i wybornie. I nie tanio, ale jak jest okazja, to bardzo lubię eksplorować nowe i ciekawe smaki.

For a long-overdue birthday celebration, we left the kids for a sleepover at their aunt's while we went out for some good food at the Korean restaurant Daon in Katowice. It was delicious and excellent. And not cheap, but when the opportunity arises, I love exploring new and interesting flavors.

Wzięliśmy grilla, wstępnie przygotowanego przez kucharza, który potem (grill, nie kucharz) dosmażał się potem u nas na stoliku. Najbardziej smakował nam jednak pikantny kurczak z ryżowymi kluskami. Do tego mnogość przepysznych marynowanych i nie tylko warzyw i sałatek. Wszystko było mocno doprawione i chyba dość mocno słone - ale przepyszne.

We ordered the grilled meat, pre-prepared by the chef, who then cooked it at our table. However, we especially enjoyed the spicy chicken with rice noodles. There was also a multitude of delicious marinated and other vegetables and salads. Everything was heavily seasoned and probably quite salty – but delicious.

Jedzonko to nie wszystko, potem wybraliśmy się sami na wycieczkę rowerową. Uwielbiam wycieczki rowerowe z dziećmi, ale przejażdżka z nimi zawsze jest dla mnie lekko stresująca - trzeba mieć jeszcze bardziej niż zwykle oczy dokoła głowy. A tak sami - to totalny relaks. Zbyt krótki co prawda - no ale na więcej to już czasu nie starczyło :)

Food wasn't everything, then we went on a bike ride alone. I love bike rides with kids, but riding with them is always a bit stressful for me – you have to be even more alert than usual. And alone – it's totally relaxing. Too short, admittedly – ​​but there wasn't enough time for more :)
