[PL / ENG] My Actifit Report Card: April 09 2026

Dzidzia miała kolorową noc (🤮), co oznacza, że trzeba było zostać w domu. Całe szczęście, że już kwiecień: w marcu byłoby to nie lada kłopotem, w kwietniu nie stanowi większego problemu, po prostu robota poleży odłogiem, ale do nadrobienia.

Baby had a colorful night (🤮), which means we had to stay home. Luckily, it's already April: in March, this would have been a real hassle, but in April, it's not a major problem; the work will simply lie fallow, but there's still work to be done.

Korzystając z przymusowej wizyty u lekarza zapisałam i Bombla, bo trochę niepokoił mnie ten przeciągnięty już od marca katar. Do tego wręcz miałam wrażenie, że ostatnio gorzej słyszy - może go ten katar zatyka jakoś czy coś. Chciałam go też więc zbadać.
Werdykt? Dzidzia - jelitówka, dwa dni wolnego i luzik.
Bombel? Niemal stan zapalny ucha i konieczne włączenie sterydów. Może się obejdzie bez antybiotyku. Zwolnienie do przyszłej środy, a potem do kontroli czy nie trzeba jednak antybiotyku.

Taking advantage of the urgent need for a doctor's appointment, I also scheduled a visit to Bombel, as I was a bit concerned about the persistent cold that had been going on since March. I also had the impression that his hearing had been getting worse lately – maybe the cold was blocking him somehow. So I wanted to check him out too.
The verdict? Baby – intestinal infection, two days off, and then nothing.
Bombel? Almost an ear infection, and he needs steroids. Maybe he can manage without antibiotics. He's off sick until next Wednesday, and then he'll be checked to see if antibiotics are necessary.

Tak więc dobrze się złożyło, że Dzidzia nam zafundowała takie atrakcje i wyjście do lekarza. Myślałam, że to tylko lekki katarek. No, bo kiedy był większy, nie miałam szans na wzięcie wolnego. Fajnie, gdyby w czasie mojej wzmożonej pracy drugi rodzic przejmował takie tematy, niestety nie ma takiej opcji, bo ten pracuje na okrągło. Tracę przez to motywację, dla mnie dzieci i ich zdrowie jest najważniejsze, mogę poświęcić swoją karierę, ale jeśli już się podjęłam trudnego projektu, to niestety muszę go zrobić do końca.

So it's a good thing Baby arranged for us to have these activities and go to the doctor. I thought it was just a minor cold. Well, when the nose was more running, I didn't have the chance to take time off. It would be nice if the other parent could take care of these things during my busy workdays, but unfortunately, that's not an option because he works around the clock. It's making me lose motivation. My children and their health are the most important thing to me. I can sacrifice my career, but if I've taken on a difficult project, I unfortunately have to see it through to the end.

Ehh.
Z miłych wieści tylko tyle, że Bombel po paru latach gardzenia Rozlewiskiem teraz wracając od lekarza chętnie pojechał tamtędy - bo to teraz fan trudniejszych terenów.

Sigh.
The only good news is that after a few years of despising Rozlewisko, Bombel now willingly went there on his way back from the doctor's office - because he's now a fan of more challenging terrain.
