[PL / ENG] HCD Graz: Rozpoczynamy majówkę! / Let the May weekend begin! My Actifit Report Card: April 29 2025

Udało się! Melduję, że dojechaliśmy cało i zdrowo. Droga nie była taka zła, ja na szczęście byłam w miarę wyspana, więc nie było tragedii. Na miejscu powitało nas miasto Graz, duże i dumne.

We made it! I report that we arrived safe and sound. The road wasn't that bad, and luckily I had had enough sleep, so it wasn't a tragedy. We were greeted by the city of Graz, large and proud.

Mamy bardzo fajne zakwaterowanie. To mały apartament z ogródkiem, ulokowany za szeregiem kamienic w samym centrum Graz. Dworzec, sztuczna wyspa na rzece, a także miejsce organizacji Hive Creator Days - wszystko w zasięgu piechoty, co ogromnie nas cieszy.

We have very nice accommodation. It is a small apartment with a garden, located behind a row of tenement houses in the very center of Graz. The train station, the artificial island in the river, and the place where the Hive Creator Days are organized - all within walking distance, which makes us very happy.

Pochwalę się, że udało nam się już zgubić :D Mieszkamy nad Eurosparem, i po pobieżnym rozpakowaniu postanowiliśmy zrobić zakupy na kolację. Małżonek poszedł schodami, ja z dziećmi - windą. Nie patrzałam, które piętro wybieraliśmy wjeżdżając na nasze osiedle, ale domyśliłam się, że 0 to parter, czyli wyjście na ulicę, proste, nie? A potem na około kamienicy i do wejścia do Spara. Ku mojemu zdumieniu, po otwarciu drzwi windy nie zobaczyłam ulicy i męża, za to znalazłam się w samym sklepie Spar... :D Tak, mamy windę do sklepu, możemy wjeżdżać tam w kapciach. Niech ktoś mi pokaże lepszą lokalizację do życia w tym mieście, serio, nie uwierzę. Dzieci zachwycone własnym kawałkiem podwórka, a rodzice mogą do sklepu wyskoczyć w kapciach :)

We've already managed to get lost :D We live above Eurospar, and after a cursory unpacking we decided to do some shopping for dinner. My husband took the stairs, I took the elevator with the kids. I didn't look which floor we were choosing when entering our housing estate, but I guessed that 0 was the ground floor, i.e. the exit to the street, easy, right? And then around the tenement house and to the entrance to Spar. To my surprise, after opening the elevator door I didn't see the street or my husband, but I found myself in the Spar store itself... :D Yes, we have an elevator to the store, we can go there in slippers. Someone show me a better location to live in this city, seriously, I won't believe it. The kids are delighted with their own piece of the yard, and the parents can pop into the store in slippers :)
