Whether it involves the daily events of our lives or something unique, we often share these experiences with specific individuals—people who truly understand us. With them, we don't need to explain every detail; a brief mention is enough for them to grasp the situation.
That is the nature of the bond shared between such people. In contrast, if we share our circumstances with others, they might turn our words against us. No matter how thoroughly we explain our reasons for acting a certain way, they tend to analyze the situation in a manner that frames us as being at fault.
After realizing this, we decide not to confide in such people again; this is a lesson learned through experience. Nowadays, the reality is that one should not share personal struggles or details about one's progress with just anyone.
People tend to react with either envy or schadenfreude (taking pleasure in another's misfortune). Everyone faces hardships, and upon hearing about others' struggles, some might think, "They have it worse than I do," or "I am better off than them."
Others might feel jealous if they see us making progress. That is why you should share your joys and sorrows only with those who are truly close to you—and no one else. When two people discuss embarrassing moments from their lives, it signifies mutual trust; if only one person is doing the sharing, that trust is likely short-lived.
Talking to people we trust fosters a positive mindset; it lifts our spirits, shifting us from a state of gloom to one of happiness—an effect that comes specifically from such trusted connections, not from interactions with others.
While we generally don't concern ourselves much with the details of other people's lives, we tend to let go of personal boundaries with those we know intimately. After all, balance is key to keeping things moving forward.
As for my day, I woke up early, freshened up, and went for a walk. Later, I got ready for work, had breakfast, and headed out. Once work was done, I returned home, spent some time with my family, had dinner, and finally went to bed.
