A Full Moon Walk 🌕: September 1 2024

A Full Moon Walk.

Let me quickly do this before I actually run out of time to share my Actifit report for yesterday.

Wohhoooo! Pat on the back, this woman got a back-to-back intentional walk outside. Yay.

I noticed that during my previous night's walk that the moon was big, and so this time I was again guided by a full moon during my short walk to the park.

These days, I do not actually run/jog, just brisk walks.

Faith bound by respect.

I am always in awe each time I see the Mary Mother of Jesus Mosque especially at night. The architecture is impressive, and it definitely shines along in this area, along with the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Andrew Orthodox Church. Yes, these three churches are built next to each other.

Here you can see the brightly lit St. Andrew's Church with the full moon on top of it.

Umm Al Emarat Park

I mentioned in one of my previous reports that I seldom walk here at Umm Al Emarat Park these days simply because it is just going around the park and there's nothing much to see.

However, I appreciate that I decided to go this route this time. I noticed that the fountain at the round-about in Karama Street is already complete and operational.

I was looking at it as I approached to see if there's a way for me to get there. Of course, there's none. Lol. It is a busy road and it is not a good idea for pedestrians to have access to it.

Finally, what's a walk around Abu Dhabi without seeing cats?! There are always stray cats. But this fellow I think deserves a spot in my report. He/she (it - I don't know) looks so cute with those big, bright eyes.

So yeah, that's about it, I guess, for tonight.
