Excitement is a big part of being happy....A fulfilling life is all about living a life that we are excited about.
Out twentieth anniversary celebration was supposed to be a grand one, but we had to give up the plan to perform our duties towards our responsibility. However, we did not want to entirely miss the fun and rather planned a small way of creating a memoir of the special day. These memoirs fill in the voids of our life - whenever we look back at these photos, they brings back all the positive energies.
In twenty years of our family life, we often went beyond our comfort zone and tried to perform our duty to the best of our abilities for our joint family, but unfortunately no one was willing to sacrifice, or step out of their comfort zone giving us all the stress, that almost killed the excitement between us for each other. Thankfully the flame was alive and we have started again to kindle the flames of love - to embrace each moment of togetherness, while still performing our duty only for our parents and kids.
Thankfully with some stability coming to our life, we are again feeling excited to enjoy each other's company before time runs out - like the same way that we enjoyed after our marriage. Time is the only currency that we spend without even knowing our balance - so being excited for small little things in our daily life plays a vital role in being happy, leading to a fulfilling life. To capture some of our best memories, we often take the camera with us - some feel it's not normal, but of late, we have decided to live by our normal - whatever feels right to us. The theater guys did not allow the camera inside, but we took few pics before leaving in their locker.
For us, the popcorn was more interesting than the movie because of unlimited refill offer, as we were enjoying the excitement the kids were having to refill as much as possible - I had to put a brake to that.
These small little happiness collectively levels up our energy that we often ignore.
She wanted to do a reel on the roof top parking but unfortunately rain spoiled that, we did take two shots, but it was not released as it did not meet her standard - we are planning to do reels more often - to enjoy them ourselves. Coming back, I took couple of above pictures from the roof top showing my city.
For the dinner, we had pre-booked a place at Echoes for the first time, and we enjoyed the dinner. The ambience, hospitality and food were really good, pre-booking the place gave us some extra advantage in discounts - so a pretty nice finishing to a memorable day.
They enjoyed the food very much and seeing them happy means a lot for us. We have seen some couple leaving their kids at home and go on a date, but believe me, we can never do that - for us, enjoying together is much more happiness.
If you have forgotten to enjoy small little things then I strongly recommend you to kindle the flames again and enjoy living a fulfilling life. This post on the chain is one more beautiful addition to our memoir - that we are building for the future.

I find joys in the little things. My little things are walks, taking pictures, reading my Bible and books and of course, watching my family eat. I also like to talk to animals. I find these very enjoyable daily.
Often we forget to enjoy the happiness in these small little things, but they are very powerful, so we are again trying to rediscover them purposefully.

A family is incomplete without the kids and it's better to have them around for all ocassion, they might take a leaf out of the good books and learn. Happy anniverssary....way to go! You both still looks too young like a newly married couple....the flame 🔥 keeps sparking.

You are absolutely right, sir. Whether the happiness is small or big, there should always be enthusiasm because that is what makes those moments happy and memorable. Due to responsibilities, some celebrations cannot happen as planned but the good thing is that your family is together and you all are big happy even in small celebrations. :)

We also love a physical album, and tried, but then they came back asking us to select 250 photos which never happened :)
Oh last time I printed photos I had to go through 3000 photos and picked like 500, it took me a week, that was 4 years of family photos
