Morning with prayer: Day Three. The awakened millstones.

Good morning to those who have already started it with prayer to those who are still sleeping and to those who have not yet learned about the great mercy of the Creator who gave us the opportunity to communicate with him directly through prayer.

There was a time when no ordinary people could get into the Holy of Holies of the temple to communicate with God only the chosen Levites could do this and before that there were people chosen by God, for example Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses but after Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross of Calvary for the salvation of all of us we received the opportunity to communicate with the Father directly.

On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles of Jesus Christ and they received many gifts.

Some began to prophesy some to speak to pray in other tongues some could interpret them and other gifts of the Holy Spirit some subsequently practiced these gifts and some stopped using them in everyday life, but even those who did not acquire such gifts acquired the most powerful weapon and a direct connection with God in the form of prayer.

Theologians often use epitites to compare prayer with something that is understandable to those people who are accustomed to seeing the world around them only in a material and not spiritual perspective.

Perhaps one of the very accurate comparisons or associations to prayer or more accurately to the relationship between man and God is the comparison with a water mill the millstones of which grind grain into flour but only when water is supplied to the wheel of the water mill.

Therefore our prayer is water.

There is a phrase in the world that when a person speaks empty words he pours water.

This is exactly how sometimes unbelievers treat prayer, considering it an empty sound until a certain time.

Today many magicians shamans and other servants of Satan offer you their services as an express lottery pay they will perform a ritual and you will get a result people willingly believe in this and people in addition to trust have a fear that for example they will be cursed.

The result of such rituals is harm for everyone and for the one for whom they pray and for the one who entrusts his thoughts to these prayers.

So, for example if a curse is removed from your child then the probability that after this your child will acquire an incurable disease for example asthma is more than high.

But no one thinks about the fact that all this blackness is only a miserable imitator of the Creator but that for God “one minute” for a person can be “several years”, but the grace of the Father generates only grace for those who call upon Him.

Today when I prayed and began to write this post it was still dark.

I remembered how early in the morning when I was driving my car to my homeland through a neighboring country I made a stop on the shore of a lake simply stopped the car and fell asleep.

When I woke up the sky was already clear.

Looking around, behind me I saw an old building of a water mill.

Although the source of water was a stone's throw away this mill has stopped functioning, it is in an abandoned state no one brings grain there so that the millstones turn it into flour.

It is similar to a person's relationship with God when for some reason he has stopped practicing his gifts received from God.

It was similar to me.

God has everything for me both water and mill, but human nature and something else made me not notice it.

But God a jealous one he punishes those whom he loves more than others but those whom he punishes he is ready to carry in his arms when they again turn their gaze to Him like a father to whom the prodigal son returned, without any reproach.

At this time God creates situations that can make me cry out to the father and this can be any unpleasant situation that we ourselves cannot deal with.
