Jiffy and OTF Coach #222
After burning splats for our most recent Catch_A_Coach yesterday and the Splaturday burn was a good one, Tiffany and I headed further out to one of the newer OTF studios here in Central Florida.
Today's Sunday Funday workout under the orange lights was not only for our 222nd ORANGETHEORY FITNESS Coach as a couple, but working out for a brand new studio was also nice to add another one to our list. I believe we are close to or have hit about 40 studios along with the 222 Coaches.
OTF APOPKA has that wonderful new feel with a very impressive studio with all the latest monitors, rowers and treadmills.
Very few studios in Central Florida have the treadmills that go as high as 15 miles per hour speed option.
When I was at my best before covid, injuries, etc. I hit the 13 mile per hour mark the first time I ran on that new treadmill.
Fast forward a couple of years and 2023 is a whole other story. Outside of the recent chest cold that has lasted longer that we would have like, because Tiffa also has dealt with it we have been feeling a lot better physically.
Today, I had to put myself to the test and did not run the 13mph, but ran a 12.3 mile per our All Out and that was glorious, because I'm still battling the ending of this cold, which gives me continue confidence that I'm over the recent huge bumps on the road in 21 and 22. Now 2023 has been a huge confidence booster.
We also worked out with all the coaches from the studio who coincidentally decided to workout with their members.
Coach Taylor, being our 222nd OTF Coach is a bright and energetic young lady who is another exciting up and coming group of young coaches who continue to keep the OTF brand revitalized.

Jiffy (Jimmy + Tiffany) as we are known in the Orangetheory community were once again humbled to have entered the studio and they expected us and welcomed us with open arms. They had a sign welcoming us, but we missed taking a picture of it. Either way, the workout was amazing, the studio is one we will definitely be back to and Coach Taylor has a great future as an OTF Coach.
