ASEAN Hive Challenge: The Red Thread It's Not Just a Color with a Story Too
Hello, how are you? As I am writing this blog, I just thought, how I decided to choose "Red" is one of my favorite colors, as I remember my mom bought me this shirt, which is red with a word on it which I can't remember, but there's this one time I saw that red makes my skin look brighter. At that time color color analysis was not that famous, and as a kid, no one cared about that LOL. So yeah, the one thing that convinced me that red is my favorite color is my birthstone stone ruby, which is red, so I stick to that favorite since then. So yeah, what I am going to share is not just about the color but their are story about it too. :D

Red, Red, Red!
This red envelope is meant for me, it is a gift from a friend from high school, and I kept it in my memory box for years. I love how she gave me letters, too T.T This friend of mine is a very kind and innocent one, she type of friend that when you have a bad that, just looking at her makes that go away hehehe I miss her so much.
Next is a gift my best friend gave me, it is a bracelet, but as time passed, the plastic wire snapped, so I just keep it in the case. My best friend knows what my favorite color is, LOL. We haven't seen each other for years. We are planning to see each other, but nothing's happening, but that will not change everything LOL.
In my high school, I went to a catholic school which required having a prayer booklet, which I kept.
Next is my old tablet's case, which I used as my clock and for reading manga. My mom used to own this, but the tablet is so slow, so I just take it from her, and my mom loves red too, so the case is red too, LOL.
Next is the ticket from OOR's concert from 2023. This ticket has a lot of memories made with it, the pandemic is still in the corner, but I still take the risk because why not? I remember the whole year without going out, yeah, the concert made me feel alive again.
This lip balm is a game changer for me, because I am prone to dry lips due to the weather sometimes. This was recommended by someone, so yeah, it works for me, and I almost finished it. Love the color of the very sheer.
These are my collection of my handmade sketchbooks, which I am so proud of, and they're all in red because why not.
My mom bought this watermelon last week, and I have to take a photo of it for memories, and the color of it is perfect for the theme of the challenge this week.
I used to have insomnia last year, and I am looking for a way to stop it. Someone suggested using an eye mask, and I love the anime Gintama. This design of eye is famous because of that, so I bought one, which helps with my sleeping problem.
These are one of my mom's, let's add a specific money count in a red ampao for luck. I put this under my bed, that's what my mom said to do LOL.
Special mention is my 8-year-old red beat-up ASUS phone that I love, my first self-hard-earned money, which still works because of its removable battery, LOL. This phone is so precious to me.

Your story felt so warm and it brought back some memories from my childhood..
It reminds me of something very personal too. My mom used to make us wear red polka dot dresses on New Year’s Eve🎉.. She said it would bring wealth and good health in the coming year. At the time it felt funny, but now it’s such a nostalgic memory.
Also, during exam days, she wouldn’t let us leave without wearing or carrying something red.. Even if it was just a small hair clip or a piece of red paper in our pocket. She said it would help us get high scores, and honestly, maybe it did😂.

The eye mask caught my attention, hahaha, its kinda scary, lol. And that's a lot of red. After seeing this all, I started to think, do I own anything red, except two shirts and one shorts 🤔
After all, our family's homestead really has a red color in various ways. It's a matter of great interest to just find us. But I also tried to find many red colors. Which are in my family. I tried to find old mobiles, lipsticks and extraordinary colors of fruits in which the color red is in.
