Hello everyone!! Have a lovely day/night to you all.
I just wanted to share how I made my chocolate-flavored ice candy. Ice candy is a popular homemade Filipino frozen treat made by freezing sweetened fruit juices, chocolate, and many variations of different flavors. This is an additional product in our mini sari-sari store since we don't have our ice cream business anymore.
So, let's take a look at how I did it.

1 can Condensed Milk (Chocolate flavor)
3-sachet Cocoa
2-sachet Milo Powder
1-sachet Milk Powder
2 cups white or brown sugar
1 cup cornstarch + 1 cup water to dilute
12 cups of mineral water
1 pack of 1 Β½ x 10 plastic bag

Pour in 12 cups of mineral water into a big pot. Then add the sugar, stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Then add the cocoa powder, Milo powder, powdered milk, and continue stirring until all these ingredients are diluted too. And then add the chocolate-flavored condensed milk. Continue to stir and mix them well.

After mixing all of these ingredients, let's now cook the mixture.

Bring the ice candy mixture to a boil for 10 minutes. Continue stirring, and after 10 minutes of boiling, add the slurry and continue to stir constantly. Cook for another 10 minutes, continuously stirring the mixture. When the mixture is a bit thick already, then it's time to turn off the heat. Then let it rest and cool down.

After cooling down, it's time to package the ice candy mixture.

Fill in 1/4 cup of ice candy mixture into a 1 1/2 x 10 plastic bag, tie and knot the plastic bag. Do this process until all are finished.

Then cut the excess plastic off the ice candy. Count them for costing and then put them into the freezer. Actually, this is my second time making ice candy here. The first one was experimental only to determine whether it's good and sellable.
Thankfully, it was indeed sellable to all ages here in our new place. Kids, teenagers, adult and even senior neighbors became our "suki," and they love it.

I made two flavors at that time. They were chocolate and orange flavors. The chocolate flavors were the most sellable; however, some adults love the orange flavor too. And there are a few left. That's why I made chocolate flavor again for its demand.

They really love the flavor and the texture. It's smooth and creamy, bridging the gap between ice cream and juice pops. My family and I love it, too. This is just a regular ice candy flavor, but I am planning on making some special flavors in the future.
Are you a fan of eating ice candy, too? Hope you love it.

Anyway, I made a costing for this little business, too. Although there's some sort of adjustment with the ingredients like the 1/2 kg of sugar on the list, I did not use all of it to avoid it being too sweet, especially for the senior customers. For the plastic bag, again, there are a few left, too.
So, here's the costing I intentionally made, thinking some of you would like to try making ice candy for business, too. I would surely share my special ice candy here in the future.
I'll end my post here and see you around. Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless. πππ

It's indeed so "masarap".
Hopefully there's someone who sell ice candy in your place too.
