Have a great and blissful day/evening to all… 🙂
Let's have some creamy pork and mushrooms today/tonight.
This was our main dish for dinner yesterday, and I was glad that my family loved it as usual. My husband even said "sauce pa lang ulam na". (Even the sauce is already a dish!) 🥰
So, let's take a look at how I did it.
Wash the pork thoroughly, then cut it into thin pieces.
Then marinate the pork with soy sauce, kalamansi juice, ground pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Set aside after marinating and let it rest for an hour. (Best if overnight.)
❤
Slice the mushrooms.
Peel and wash onions, and then cut them into small pieces.
Crush and peel garlic, then cut into small pieces.
Wash the spring onion, then cut it into small and thin pieces.
Set all the prepared ingredients aside.
❤
Heat the pan using a high heat setting. Add just a small amount of canola oil. Gradually add the slices of marinated pork and sear them until golden brown.
Repeat the process until everything is finished. Then transfer the seared pork to a plate.
In another pan, heat a small amount of canola oil, then sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
Then add the mushroom and sauté for a few seconds, and then add the seared pork. Mix them all and then add a pork cube. Stir and mix until it dissolves.
Then add water and cover the pan, and cook for a few minutes, or until the pork becomes tender and the water has evaporated.
❤
Then add the evaporated milk and creamer. Season with a pinch of salt, ground pepper and a little Knorr liquid seasoning. Mix the seasoning thoroughly with the pork and mushrooms by gently stirring them, and allow each piece of pork to be coated evenly with the cream.
And then cover the pan again and continue to cook on low heat to prevent the cream from curdling. Wait until the sauce has thickened and become creamy.
There it is, all done!!
Transfer the creamy pork and mushrooms to a serving plate. Garnished further by sprinkling some thinly cut spring onions or parsley on top. Serve and enjoy this dish with the family.
You can have some too...😊
This would be all for now, and see you around. I hope you enjoy this type of dish as well.
