Weekly HSBI and DUO Token Giveaway, Week 55!
This little giveaway started over a year ago now, and it has slowly expanded over the ensuing months. When it started I was lucky to have five or six participants and this past week there were forty-three. It's nice to see that everyone still appreciates the contest and as long as you do I'll keep it going!
Let's review some of the responses to last week's entry question about your favorite video games:
Super Mario

Super Mario Bros. first appeared in 1985 for the flagship Nintendo console and in the arcades. It quickly became a fan favorite and has spun off more games than I can count. This week we had people choose all sorts of Mario games and I had to lump them all together. I could have done an entire post on just the Mario Bros games that were selected. I remember playing this for hours on the Nintendo, it was such a fun game. When my son was young we used to play it as well in the more modern games. It's truly a multigenerational phenomenon with no signs of slowing down.

First released for the Game Boy in 1996, this has become a universe unto itself with so many fun games. I never played much until my son got interested in the games, and the are very entertaining. They keep producing more and more games, and then the anime cartoons to boot. This is a great franchise that will be around for many long years to come!

Diablo 2

The Diablo series started back in 1997. You control the hero who is trying to stop Diablo from destroying the world. Diablo 2 was released in 2000 as a follow up to the events of the first game. It was a dramatic improvement over the first installment and many like this game from the franchise the best. Thanks for the great pick by @steemmillionaire and @olaf.gui .

First released in 1993 this series of games have improved with every new game produced. I haven't played them too much myself over the years, but have tried them out in the past at friend's homes. They are fun to play, and I can see how any sports fan could get addicted very quickly to them.

Donkey Kong

This classic arcade game first appeared in 1981 and quickly became one of the most popular arcade games around. It features the first appearance of our friend Mario who goes on to build the base of the Mario Bros universe. But it all started with Donkey Kong, who has had multiple games created after this early game from the 1980's! Thanks for this pick by @silverd510 !

I remember playing this game on my Nintendo in the 1980's, I played for hours and hours at a time. I still remember the music engrained into my brain! This has been such a successful franchise that continues to produce good games. Thanks for the memories on this one @geneeverett , but I may never get that music out of my head now, thanks dude!

This worldwide phenomenon first appeared in 2011 as a sandbox game where you can build and craft all sorts of fun items. My son got really into this game too and so I learned to play as well. I still play from time to time, it's a great way to kill time if you're waiting somewhere! Thanks for a great choice @lumpiadobo .

This fun game first appeared in 1988 after being created by a Soviet software engineer in 1985. It's an addicting game that gets harder as you progress. It takes a sharp mind and quick reflexes to clear rows by fitting in the odd shaped blocks descending from above. What a great recommendation by @florakese , thanks!
There were so many different games picked this week that there is no way I could ever cover them all. But I do like to mention everyone's choice! Fallout 2 was mentioned by @alexvan , it was a fun game and I like the Fallout series. Flight Simulator games were the pick from @silvertop as he's a licensed pilot which is really awesome! World of Warcraft was the preference of my good friend @blitzzzz . Final Fantasy VII comes from @holdeck2 , a series I know very little about unfortunately...
Sports SIM was the favorite of @doombot75 , and Gauntlet by @moonthumb . The from Crash Bandicoot we have Crash Bash from @ronnie10 and Kingdom of Hearts by @sylmarill . Rocket League was the favorite of @vcclothing and Xonix from @bigorna1 . Goonies was a fun choice from @logen9f and Conquer and Command Generals by @rainbowdash4l .
Dragon Quest series was a favorite of @dewabrata , they were fun! Starcraft was a pick from @middle-earthling and XCOM by @servelle . Need for Speed: Heat was the favorite of @oadissin , and League of Legends by @hatdogsensei . Dota 2 was the choice by @anderssinho and Age of Empires by @dstampede . I used to like playing that one too!
And the last few, Runescape from @stekene . Then a couple timeless classics to round off the day, 1942 from @bitandi, here's the pick provided:

The HOC focuses on onboarding and supporting new Hive members
That is too general of a question in my personal opinion. So instead of giving you just one, I’m going to break it down into categories, you can do as you wish with them.
My favorite cold cut style sandwich is a true Italian sub. The capicola, salami, sopressata, with fresh mozzarella, lettuce, roasted peppers with balsamic vinegar and real extra virgin olive oil.
My favorite hot sandwich is a tie for me. It’s between the classic cheesesteak freshly shaved rib-eye chopped up with fried onions with and ONLY with Cooper sharp cheese on a classic semolina hoagie roll. The tie is with an old school Italian classic with a new age twist. It’s a chicken parm hero on a toasted Italian roll, but instead of regular red sauce you use vodka sauce. It takes it to a whole different level. But the chicken has to be thin and layered with sauce in between each layer.

I used to play Diablo 2 a bunch back in the day, never got into the other ones.
A good deli sandwich, with all the flavors, sweet, spicy, sour and umami. There used to be a sandwich shop near were I used to work and they have the BEST sandwiches, sadly they are out of business now. They had these sweet pickled peppers that were incredible, along with hand sliced meat. I'm salivating just thinking about it! !BBH
This week I am very tardy in my replies on the giveaway. I get 50 responses and forgot to do anything buy vote to make sure everyone got a cut of the 10% from commentrewarder. I love deli sandwiches, and pickled peppers too. I have multiple bottles in my fridge at all times!

Hey man, no big deal! It's tricky for me also to keep up with comments. There have been a few times I (to my shame) got my 10% back. I've been trying to reward manually, but even that is tricky to keep up with. All that to say, don't sweat it. If it comes back, it'll still be towards a good cause.
Our family was discussing dinner options and I (without hesitation) said "Jimmy John's". But the HOMEMADE Jimmy Johns, where we get their day-old bread and buy discounted lunch meat from the grocery store. I think it's just as good, only better when looking at the finances.

I love this question, and I don't know if my answer is too orthodox, but my favorite is to take a small baguette and put a couple of ounces of chocolate in it. My kids love it.

I'm not the biggest sandwich eater, but when I make one it's a relatively classic one: toast with salami and cheese in between and then in the oven so that the cheese melts and the bread is lightly toasted.
My favorite sandwich: bread spread with tomato, a drizzle of olive oil, and a couple of slices of thinly sliced Iberian ham. It melts in your mouth.

Sándwich de lomo (Argentina): A giant sandwich that includes sirloin steak, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, mayonnaise, chimichurri, ham, cheese and a fried egg. It is very popular in Argentina and Uruguay.
And although I have never been to those two countries, I had the opportunity to meet some Argentinians who were very good friends, and when they invited me to their house they always prepared that Sándwich de lomo.

I don't know why I didn't comment last week, but I sure would have said any game in the Pokemon franchise.
You say sandwich and I immediately think in the tuna sandwich from Subway, with oregano and parmesan cheese bread. It is undoubtedly my favorite.
Favorite sandwich is Francesinha from Portugal. I think I have mentioned it here in the past but it's the easy pick for me.
