Season's End: Celebrating a Leaderboard Spot and Readying for the Next Splinterlands Battle

Another season is over on Splinterlands game and with every season passing by I find myself doing slightly better in the game. it's not always dependent on what league I'm ending the season with rather it is more important that how I did overall in the season and how much I also worked on different assets accumulation. in this season I was able to add some good amount of SPS to the balance and for cards I'm still dependent upon the rental. I believe rental market is good if you are playing in the wild format because you get a lot of card availability at reasonable prices. because I have been using the market for many months so I know that if we do some comparison then the prices are on the higher side but it's fine.

I'm very happy to share that this season I got the spot in leaderboard. the leaderboard is for the Diamond One League and I got 99 rank. it's like just buy one number I got the spot and I'm happy that I'm able to do this Because if you are part of the leaderboard then you get some additional reward apart from whatever is the regular reward distributed on the basis of boost and league.

Getting a slot in leaderboard is not an easy task And although this is not the first time when I achieved the slot indeed but I agree that it is tough. this time I have done it and I am very happy but I don't know if I will be able to do it again in the next season but from my side I will put my best default in place to see if it is possible but if it is not then also it's OK because there is always a next time. this is how the game should be and I'm happy to play this way when I get the spot and leave the board or not that is not very important but when I get it it surely makes me very happy and of course I can't ignore the additional reward that I get.

Now because the new season is started so today I spent some time on the rental market and have renewed all the required cards for me. I know that it takes time for the renewal and this is a regular activity which I do once in every season so today because I have done it so for the next seventeen days I'm all set. I observe that there is a slight difference on the number of days in every season so this time it is for 17 days as you can also see on the below snapshot which I have taken from the rental market.

The game is on maintenance as of now which I think should be over shortly maybe in few hours so I cannot take the snapshot from the game account but this snapshot is good enough to show that what cards I have taken on the rental and for the duration also. for the rental market there is a market fee which is four percent out of which two percent is burned and two percent is kept by the platform itself to keep it running. it makes sense because this way more revenue generated and some out of it is burned however the remaining is utilised for the betterment.

Rental market is the great place for those who wants to play the game but they do not want to invest on cards however it is always good to own the card but rental is the arrangement which can help you to get started. this option is good but there are certain challenges which you'll have to feel and deal with it. for examples you might not get some of the cards which can be really great for the game and the cards can also moved out of your collection anytime since it is not owned by you. You need to pay regularly and the price also keep on fluctuating so if it is down then it is good but if it is up then it is not because you need to pay higher amount for the same card and this is where buying is a better practise that is why I say that both has got its pros and cons.

Overall this season was good and now the countdown started for the next season so I'll be trying my best to see what I can achieve and what league I'm able to open for me in this current season.
