We may not have been away for 15 years, but we're still celebrating our comeback with HiQs Flash №15.
It's been quiet around us and our projects for a long time, but we're still here and we're getting started again. LOOL
You're probably wondering what happened to us. Many of us are struggling with real-life problems, and maybe you know that too: it's not always easy to balance Hive and real life. Unfortunately, not all real-life problems + Hive will be solved at the same time for the time being. But don't worry, dear readers - that's how life is sometimes.
But before we regroup ourselves and our projects, we're off to Hamburg. You can find out more about this in the Story of the Week.
We also want to give more space to the topic of charity. Take a look at the article on @hive.helps to find out more. And we have another representative on the topic of charity. You can find him either in HfH or in Hamburg (editor's note: And since we are also in Hamburg, you can read more about it in the next HiQs Flash).
There's also another Rant, which you'll have to check out for yourself under Gaming. And if you can't get enough of gaming, don't forget to take a look at THE hive gaming community.
Our Leo correspondent has also reviewed Leo's latest prank. And we can already reveal this much: We're already looking forward to the new hiven shit from Leo.
Hivestyle for Hivians, X of the Week (Editor's note: name change? LOOL?) and THE giveaway are of course also part of the programme.
So have fun with ... ★

The HiveFest in Mexico felt like yesterday. The Buzzparty in Hamburg is this Saturday. A weekend full of fun, games, timetables and Hivians.
Our colourful-haired friend @tibfox invites you to the Buzzparty in Hamburg. Even though we're a bit late to report on it, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to tell you about this unbeatable event of German hive culture.
It's not just because we'll be giving a talk at this event that we're so excited, we're also looking forward to seeing some of the visitors again after our odyssey to Mexico. But what's in it for you at this event? That's an excellent question.
The first meeting will take place on Saturday 20 April at 9 a.m. at Hafentor 7 in Hamburg. The adventure starts from there. Because we want to make it easy for ourselves and don't want to type out the timeline again, here is the timeline from the official posts of @buzzparty. (Editor's note: LOOL.)
Saturday
Sunday
If you want to read more about this event, check out @buzzparty's posts. You'll find all the information you need to stay up to date. ★

Do you like playing games? You discovered a new game and want to share it with your followers and friends on Hive? Which community do you prefer? Meet Hive Gaming, one of Hive's eldest and biggest communities.
Photo taken from Hive Gaming Discord server
The Hive Gaming community has been the favorite community of game lovers on Hive for about 4 years. As the name suggests, the topic to be shared in the community is "Games". Speaking of gaming, we can talk about everything related to gaming. You can share the making of a game, gameplay video, your ideas and criticisms about the game, content about all games on web2 and web3. Spam, plagiarism, gambling content is prohibited. Also, if you want to raffle a game, you need permission from the moderators of the community via the Discord server. Another rule is that your posts must be posted either in English or in the original language with the English translated version.
The community is currently averaging 25 posts a day, which is a pretty good amount. This may increase when a new game is released. The community is the 6th largest community on Hive with 14159 members. There aren't many events in the community these days, but there used to be a lot of game-related events.
The community also has a trail called hivegc, which you can check out here if you want to join. If you want to learn more about Hive Gaming community, we recommend joining the Discord server here. If you call yourself a real gamer, you should have already visited the community! ★

jboss resignes from PsyberX and his other crypto-based games. We (Editor's note: but not @smooms) are really sad to see this unforeseeable development, but now we can finally look into all the hidden secrets of PsyberX, sike it's just a rant
A blockchain based Ego Shooter? Sounds great, but how do you connect crypto and a First Person Shooter? How do you reliably create original assets? What is a good Framework that supports a blockchain connection? How can you build longevity in such a game? These and many more questions were not asked when @jboss (Editor's note: Although there is no user called JBoss. Strange? You decide.) created PsyberX.
There have been scandals concerning assets flips and purely mentioning those allegations would get you a flag from the PsyberX crew.
For me personally I already thought it was a whiskey fueled idea, that didn't make any sense. The Trailer was the last thing I consumed when it comes to PsyberX. Too good to be the actual game looking at the ressources and even then nothing breathtaking or to write home about. Just some generic FPS.
You could even make a somewhat decent hive based shooter just limit the expectations and try to capture the audience with fun quirky hive-based mechanics in your game. At least that would be the way I would do it and I am sadly no Game Dev.
The HiQ has not experienced many downvotes in the past, but to shoot the messenger when you are caught with the hand in the cookie jar is such a blatent and shady tactic that the HiQ did not shed a tear when we heared of @jboss' resignment.
It is always the others and I am sure he has no penny to his name and really tried his hardest all the time to make it work somehow. If only someone at DC Universe picked up the phone when he called, we would all be rich by now. Maybe @jboss would have even made a hive account if HBO signed that damn deal.
Make hype, farm the hype, exit, repeat.
Good luck on your next adventure @jboss! ★

To keep up in this crypto world projects need to adapt and be innovative.
We are sure that you have noticed Hive getting delisted from some Central Exchanges a few months ago. Like them or loathe being listed in a CEX gives a chain visibily. Without visibility it is hard to gain new investors and/or new users.
Of course, many people avoid CEXs like the plague and like to use DEXs, one big advantage being the lack of KYC requirement.
The folks over at Inleo have built LEODEX which is available via leodex.io.
Leodex is a self custodial exchange. Your funds stay in your wallet until you make a swap. The asset to be swapped is sent out and the corresponding swapped asset is sent to your wallet address.
It only went live earlier this week and now you can connect your XDEFI wallet, MetaMask is next to be added.
With these exchange delistings it means that the possibility for users to buy HIVE is limited. Binance is the exchange which gets the maximum trade for HIVE, so heaven knows what would happen if Binance delisted HIVE! A DEX listing for Hive therefore could potentially do wonders for the Hive blockchain and this is where leodex comes in.
LeoDex is the brand new interface for the world of cross-chain swaps. It is powered by Maya Protocol and the brand new Hive Aggregation Technology (HAT).
LeoDex allows you to seamlessly swap any L1 asset that is supported by Maya Protocol, our Hive Aggregation Technology and soon Thorchain & ChainFlip assets as well.
LEO getting listed on Maya Protocol opened the gateway for the Inleo team to build what they are calling "Hive Aggregation Technology (HAT)".
Pretty funky huh!
The real question now though, is wen HIQS moon LOOL?🚀🌕 ★

Back with a new dose of Hivstyle for Hivians. And what have you been up to?
We've learned that a lot has changed in Splinterlands since our last issue. Some of the people we've spoken to don't like the changes. But what has changed?
Firstly, the league system was abolished some time ago and the individual leaderboards, which means that you can now also meet opponents in Bronze who have a Max deck and it is no longer restricted to Bronze players. From this point on, there is only one leaderboard. Which of course makes it much harder for newcomers to progress in the game.
In addition, Splinterlands also adjusted and changed the Focus Cheast and Season Rewards with a new update a good 2 weeks ago. As of this update, you can no longer earn chests and collect soulbound cards, portions, merits and sps. This has all been abolished and replaced by a new token called Glint. As of the last season, you no longer receive cards and sps, but everything is paid out in Glint and a special store has been created for this purpose, where you can buy various things such as portions, cards, merits, etc. for Glint.
In addition, from the update you can no longer burn gladiator cards against Dec, from 02.04.2024 this will only be possible for Merits
These two changes have led to a lot of criticism and resentment and we are curious to see if anything will be changed back, as more and more players are losing the fun of Splinterlands.
Today we would like to tell you about something new that we think is highly recommended. There are already various charity projects on Hive, but a user from the German community called @kheldar1982 has now come up with something very special. As some of you may have noticed, he already had a charity project on his account called "You choose - I donate". But now he has come up with something new.
He has created an account with the name @hive.helps and, as the name suggests, the account will be used for good causes. A good 2 years ago, @Kheldar1982 had the idea that he would like to do something good and donated 250 euros a month to charitable organizations via his account. And we Hive users were allowed to decide where the money went by commenting and voting. As mentioned above, he called it "You choose - I donate".
A good 2 months ago on 12.02.2024 he then decided to create an extra account and do it from there. He explained his motives in a separate post. if you want to know more, take a look at the first @hive.helps post.
https://peakd.com/hive-109667/@hive.helps/ende-introducing-hivehelps-making-the-world-better
The goal of the @hive.helps account is to accumulate enough HBD in the savings through donations and real money to continue making donations from the interest each month. For the time being, the donation will be reduced to €100 per month (note: until now it was €250 per month, if you want to read about it, you can find it at You choose - I donate). As soon as the interest from the HBD exceeds €100 per month, the payment will be increased again. In addition, monthly posts will report on the progress of the account and the current status. The rewads from the posts will continue to flow into the savings so that the main goal of 15000 HBD can be reached more quickly. Until then, he is dependent on donations and help. So don't be afraid to follow and support the account.
If you want to know more or small details, have a look at the blog of @hive.helps, everything is explained there. ★
The guys and boys from CBRS have set up a charity project called @cbrsphilanthropy. The project is about enabling a school in Venezuela to improve its financial situation with Hive. If you ask us, that sounds like a project worth supporting. We'll be sure to find out more about it on site in Hamburg. Until then, check out the blog and leave a few votes. ★

You had to wait a long time, but today the wait is over. This week we finally have the solution to our last raffle from HiQs Flash №15. Again some Hivians answered the call.
Short info
Version 1: Since we are currently experiencing delays due to our real life. We can't guarantee 100% that the next issue will be published every 2 weeks. So check back from time to time to see if we've heard from you yet. We will set the countdown for one week and then we will evaluate the competition.
Everyone who has submitted their tip in accordance with the rules by then is eligible to take part.
In the last HiQs Flash, we wanted to know how many common cards are in the next booster pack we open. This time, too, you can look forward to finding out who the lucky winners of the coveted Craftink booster packs are!
Here you can find an overview of the participants and their tips.
Name | Tip |
---|---|
@joseal2020 | 3 Common |
@gornat | 3 Common |
@cpol | 3 Common |
@arc7icwolf | 3 Common |
@libertycrypto27 | 1 Common |
@stekene | 3 Common |
@alicia2022 | 3 Common |
@sacra97 | 4 Common |
@ynwa.andree | 3 Common |
@bitandi | 2 Common |
As usual, we opened a pack and these cards appeared.
After we opened the pack, we were able to locate exactly 4 Common cards.
Due to the fact that only one participant guessed 4 Commen cards, @sacra97 is the only one who can enjoy our valuable booster packs this time. Since we had 6 packs in the raffle, these 6 packs will be sent to you immediately, have fun with them and congratulations.
We will open another CraftInk booster pack internally and you can guess how many Common cards are in this pack. Write us your guess in the comments and mention 2 more Hivestylers. In the next HiQs Flash, which will be published soon, we will announce the winners and post a proof screenshot of our pack opening. You have until the end of the countdown to take part in this competition. We will give away 4 packs among all participants.
Important note: We must insist that you read the giveaway terms and conditions carefully. Anyone who forgets to tag or types the wrong card will unfortunately not be considered. ★
