The Bad Boss Experience

One boss bad experience made me decide not to really work under someone again or engage in salary work, after my Junior school exam, I decided to learn a skill and the only skill on my mind then was to learn how to operate computer, I would have venture into tailoring but I just decided I need the computer knowledge then, it wasn't easy though because my boss was somehow strict so we can take it serious and learn fast and after 6month I was done and also good with typing without looking at keyboard due to this typing software Mavis beacon but after the whole training, I didn't use the skill till after I was done with my senior waec and since I had to stay at home for a year after, I followed one of my church guy to work one day, The university motion ground where they do registration, photocopying and printing and I was kind of interested so he just put me through what I need to know then help me get a job with one of the shop owners so I can work.

Well she agreed to pay me 500 naira daily which was 15k monthly salary, the money look really big back then and the woman was kind of good to be from the start because I'm an asset to her and I don't use to complain as per the good boy then after some months, she started showing her true behaviour especially when it come to money and paying salary, somehow she always find fault in us so as she will use it as excuse not to pay us or deduct part of our salary, as usual I didn't complain and I was just looking her and also piling up her offense in one big cooler, one of the workers vex and left the work because she was paying and yet she collect every money we account for her daily, one faithful day after two month, I told myself enough is enough, we made a huge sales which was more than our usual, I just deduct my two month salary out of what we made that day, and also the wages for the days then gave the remaining to my co-worker with a message that "tell your boss, I'm done working for her" and I left.

The guy came back to share me the gossips on how she react after knowing what I did and we both laugh it off and a week later, I started working for a lady opposite her shop so she can always see me and be pained, she went to report to the association and when they realised she was owing, they dismissed the case and just told me not to do such again. This new job was like peace from above and way better than the previous own, I was the mini boss because it was just me and the lady (who didn't really have experience on how to operate the computer as at that time), she just started the business and focus on the photocopying part and we never had any issue till I left.
