My Actifit Report Card: June 2 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was still rainy in the morning but that's okay because that's when I sleep! In the afternoon, when we were finally ready, the sun was back. So of course, Kaia and I started a long walk, while Le Chat stayed hidden inside again.

Kaia started her exploration behind the back yard.

But as usual, the main destination was the forest of course.

For once I saw this deer long before Kaia caught its scent. It was very focused on her. And it was right because when Kaia finally saw it, it turned into a foot race.

Kaia came back tired and thirsty. She found a water puddle but she was like: "Where's all the water, I can't even dip my toes in..."

She took the lead anyways and led us through the forest along the trails.

Until something caught her attention again.

Yep, just like the day before, plenty of chipmunks out there.

She didn't even go after this one, like I said yesterday, she know there's no chance to catch it. But we continued on the trails.

I like that tree trunk. Always lots of mushrooms growing on it. I showed this two already, but it's interesting to follow their growth and decay.

And we finished our walk as usual in the neighborhood under a beautiful cloudy sky.

Since I didn't go for a run on Saturday because of (or maybe thanks to) the rain, I went yesterday. A good 45 minutes run. Slow again but if I finally get back into some sort of training routine, it will get much better.
And to finish the day, a few more steps in the yard were just enough to pass the bar one more time. Probably the end for me in May #poprzeczka though.
