Die Printausgabe ist in Arbeit aber noch nicht ganz fertig. Das Minigame ist in der Mache aber auch noch nicht ganz fertig. Die Reise zum HiveFest8 wird vorbereitet, aber wir sind noch ... Minigame WIP but with Server issues

CraftInk and the mini-game are already visible on the horizon. The work is progressing steadily. But nothing passes us by without a hitch. Not even the last working week. But more about that later. We are now in the process of implementing the UI for the mini-game and will finish it at the weekend. (Editor's note: If nothing else comes up. LOOL) After that, the logic for the mini-game can be programmed, which should work immediately (Editor's note: At least almost immediately.) with the frontend. The frontend of the minigame will NOT run via Unity, as first communicated, but will be integrated into the website for a first test phase (Editor's note: Or alpha, as it is affectionately called in the gaming scene). We hope to be able to present a first version of the mini-game at HiveFest.

But things don't always run smoothly at HiQuarters - yesterday (Editor's note: September 6th 2023. LOOL) a stroke of fate of unimagined magnitude forced us to rebuild a completely empty server. This mission was made even more difficult because our full-stack IT slave @smooms, quick-witted as he always is, set up the server in such a way that he locked himself out of the server on the firewall side. A true pro gamer move. Nevertheless, he didn't let himself be distracted, and the CraftInk services (Editor's note: accessible at https://playcraftink.com) and the HiQ website (Editor's: accessible at https://hiq-hive.com) are now accessible again. We were lucky again, and so were you.

Of course, there is only one thing left to do now. You ask yourselves "What?". That's easy. Book advertising space and make us even happier. (Editor's note: And buy booster packs to be prepared for the mini-game. Available at https://playcraftink.com.) After all, don't we deserve to be a little happy?

CraftInk und das Minigame sind am Horizont schon zu erkennen. Die Arbeit geht stetig voran. Doch nichts zieht problemlos an uns vorbei. So auch nicht die letzte Arbeitswoche. Aber dazu später mehr. Wir stecken nun in der Implementierung des UI für das Minigame und werden dieses am Wochenende fertig kriegen. (Anm. d. R.: Wenn nicht wieder was dazwischen kommt. LOOL) Im Anschluss kann dann die Logik für das Minigame programmiert werden, welche sofort (Anm. d. R.: Zumindest nahezu sofort.) mit dem Frontend funktionieren müsste. Das Frontend des Minigames wird NICHT wie zuerst kommuniziert über Unity laufen, sondern für eine erste Testphase (Anm. d. R.: Oder Alpha, wie es in der Gamingszene auch liebevoll genannt wird.) in die Website integriert. Wir hoffen somit das Minigame in einer ersten Version zum HiveFest bereits präsentieren zu können.

Doch es läuft nicht immer rund im Hause HiQuarters - gestern (Anm. d. R.: Also am 06. September 2023. LOOL) hat ein Schicksalsschlag von ungeahntem Ausmaß uns dazu gebracht einen komplett platten Server wieder neu aufsetzen zu müssen. Diese Mission wurde zudem noch erschwert, da unser Fullstack IT Sklave @smooms, geistesgegenwärtig wie er immer so ist, den Server so eingerichtet hat, dass er sich selber firewallseitig vom Server ausgesperrt hat. Ein wahrer Pro Gamer Move. Nichtsdestotrotz ließ er sich jedoch nicht beirren und die CraftInk Services (Anm. d. R.: Erreichbar unter https://playcraftink.com) und die HiQ Website (Anm. d. R.: Erreichbar unter https://hiq-hive.com) sind nun wieder erreichbar. Da haben wir aber nochmal Schwein gehabt und ihr auch.

Da bleibt natürlich jetzt nur noch eins. Ihr fragt euch "Was denn?". Na ganz einfach. Werbeplatz buchen und uns noch glücklicher machen. (Anm. d. The Rare EVO in Denver is barely over and the next event is just around the corner - the BREATHE Convention in Las Vegas. Also in Vegas, @crimsonclad, @aggroed, @wrestorgonline and a few other users and Hive projects will be hitting the exhibit halls and speaker slots again. The event will take place from 13-14 September 2023, and if you have the time and the inclination, there is once again the possibility to get free access as a Hivian for this event.

But as so often, this is complaining at the highest level.
