The AI makes better images than my camera.

Hello fellow Hives. Today as usual I was playing around with the AI doing different tests. In this case I wanted to make hyper-realistic creations. Now it is very fashionable to say that with the advances of AI we will not know how to distinguish between reality and fiction.

There would be a lot to discuss about reality and fiction, but that is a philosophical debate that I don't think can be addressed in a publication of these characteristics. When the photograph appeared, some said that it stole the soul of those photographed. When the cinema or television appeared, so much of the same thing. Do not be afraid, nothing will happen to us, the human being is what he is due to his infinite capacity for adaptation and that will not change.

But I've strayed a little off topic. I have a small pond near my house where the children go to play and it is full of frogs, some have been brought home. I like frogs and many times I take photos of them and then I modify them to make them more attractive. Today I wanted to pose a challenge to you.
The image that you see below is an edited photograph of me or is it a creation of the AI? Please explain your reasoning a bit.

I agree that AI can generate some beautiful pieces of art, but there's always some kind of tell that it's not a real photo. For instance, in this piece, one of the frog's "toes" it incomplete (on his front left foot). As good as some AI "photos" look, hands and fingers are almost ALWAYS an issue for them to render.

Edit: Also, your Night Cafe link is a generic "my creations" link that will only show the pieces created by whoever clicks on it. You should update that to be a link to your account's gallery page.

It's why AI is going to take over animation and probably movie making soon. It creates such good images that it makes reality seem drab by comparison. Soon actors and screen writers should all be a little nervous they may be out of a job soon!

Sounds like you have a great time with your kids! I miss have younger kids, they are so much fun!
