Sunny Sunday: May 14 2023

I must say that it looks like the spring might finally be here to stay. At least this past weekend was nice, but I still put my winter jacket on when we walked to the food van on Saturday night after a salsa party.

Both - Saturday and Sunday the sun was in my face when I woke up in the morning and like last year, I was finally able to enjoy my morning coffee on my front door ‘porch’.

I like sitting there in the morning, soaking sunshine and assessing what needs to be done in the front garden. On a good day I get up from my comfy seat and do some actual work, but yesterday wasn’t one of those days.

What I did do however is spring clean my bedroom. All my bedding and duvets were freshly dried in my garden and it felt like dusting the shelves and reorganising my wardrobe to better suit my needs would be a nice compliment to the fresh sheets on my bed.

In the evening I also went to my ex allotment to pick up some tools that neighbours managed to get back for me, but I just missed her.

Well, never mind. At least I had an extra walk. New owner have transformed my old allotment in a blink of an eye. I would not be able to do the same myself. Looks like it is in better hands now.

Actifit has stolen my steps again, I guess cause my phone wasn’t on me all the time, but I did exceed 10k steps according to my watch.
