Monochrome photo for every day my personal photo challenge - 01.19.2024 - Issue - No.130+ a modest competition for everyone who wants to share a monochrome photograph.
You've probably noticed that buildings for various purposes, be it houses, bridges, or something else age and deteriorate much faster when people stop using them.
It’s strange in my opinion, when people constantly walk on steps or other surfaces, the decay of structures should happen faster but for some unknown reason everything happens exactly the opposite.
For me this is a challenge, but for you, it can be a simple and easy read, or it can become a competition which you can read about below.
Here is a photograph of a bridge that has never been used by people for its intended purpose unless you count lonely and curious stalkers like me who were interested in seeing something new.
I didn’t take a hammer crowbar, or sledgehammer with me, but I felt like the stone structures were crumbling under my feet after every step, and this is a relatively recent construction I saw medieval buildings in better condition but here some thirty years have passed and the reinforced concrete began to turn into dust.
It turns out that where people do not walk time walks and its steps are very heavy and destructive.
You can join the challenge by posting a monochrome photo under this and subsequent challenge posts.
This should be any monochrome photographic work; it does not necessarily have to be black and white, sepia and other variations are welcome, and it can also be monochrome photo collages.

I would like to try it salted, do you just pour the salt on it and leave it out, or refrigerate it?
We can only keep trout that are between 15 and 24 inches, that one was over 24 inches. We keep the red roe from mullet, I freeze it in meal-size packages.
and I canned the fish
There are many recipes for salting caviar, with salt and sugar, or without sugar. Some people scald the caviar with boiling water, while others salt them right away, but you need to “beat” the caviar off the films on gauze, rub it a little so that the eggs are intact without any admixtures of other fish tissues. Red fish is not found in our reservoirs, and its salting is delicate, I do not like lightly salted fish, and it is very easy to over-salt red fish.
Personally, I like to salt herring roe, capelin roe and cod roe, although cod roe is a little spicy and tough.
For 200 ml of caviar, a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of sugar, after 3-4 days I use it on sandwiches. As for salting and smoking fish, I like my results with herring and spicy-salted mackerel, hot-smoked mackerel and hot-smoked sea bass, that's my thing, lol.
