My Actifit Report Card: August 13 2022

Travelling home from holiday today so not too much to report. We left about 8:30 this morning to miss some of the heat of the day but didn't expect the levels of holiday traffic that we encountered. We finally got home about 4 this afternoon after a thoroughly horrible, very hot and sweaty slow drive in our small car with no air conditioning.

We stopped a couple of times for a stretch of the legs, firstly in Highdown Gardens in Worthing which is a lovely little garden to walk around (and is free entry). Secondly we stopped for some lunch at a farm shop cafe in the village of West Wellow.

I'm pleased to report that most of our garden has survived the week of extreme heat without any watering and as you can see from my cover picture we even have some peppers and chillies on the way.
