GM:FRENS and CryptoCompanyCEO partnership announcement
We are proud to announce a new partnership between CryptoCompany CEO and GM:FRENS. As creators of CryptoCompany CEO, we are always on the lookout for exciting projects to get involved with and offer our support. GM:FRENS is a revolutionary cross-blockchain social NFT project that has made big waves in the HIVE and LEO communities, with the hashtag #gmfrens as # 1 on the trending page of alpha.leofinance.io/threads.
GM:FRENS is a cross-blockchain social NFT project that was launched on HIVE via the micro-blogging platform Threads. The goal of the project is to encourage engagement with other users on Hive, while incentivizing the use of the #gmfrens tag and NFTs. GM is a WAX-based token at the heart of the project, and can be used for blending NFTs, or even voting in the GM:DAO.
The GM token can also be traded on the Alcor Exchange, which is a decentralized exchange for WAX assets. GM:FRENS NFTs can be minted and blended on the NeftyBlocks page. In the latest update, the project launched its DAO and first proposal, which passed with 100% votes. More information is available on their official website or @gmfrens.
Our partnership with GM:FRENS is set to bring new and innovative solutions to the world of crypto and NFTs. We are excited to announce that not only are we building an in-game use case for the GM tokens, but we will also be releasing a special NFT. It is our mission that our partners find new use cases for their tokens or NFTs.
One of our ideas is that with the help of your in-game smartphone you will be able to say GM:FRENS on threads.
Thought experiment:
You log into the game and have a notification on your in-game smartphone: "Welcome to Taka-Token Island! Have you already said GM to your Frens?" - Then a popup appears that encourages you to make an in-game selfie. This gets posted automatically in Threads giving the player's position on the map and using the tags #gmfrens #cryptocompany and #gaming. Players would have a few characters to individualize their message or have 3 ready-made options to choose from. This gives several projects a use case: @leofinance has another active user, @gmfrens has another active miner. This either leads to more GM tokens to be burnt or a few GM tokens mined ant sent to our players. So we implemented a play to earn feature where the value derives from 2 already existing projects. Evryone is happy since we all benefit from this: the players earn GM tokens and a little HIVE HBD and LEO from their thread.
More and more use cases will be added as we go and of course, as we are in the web3 space and all in an early stage, we can only imagine what the future might bring. This also means, that sometimes we will have to adjust some things as we progress. These adjustments will always be done in a way that it is mutually beneficial for all stakeholders.
This in-game item will be one-of-a-kind, and players will be able to showcase their GM:FRENS item and make their opponents envious as they race by. The possibilities in the game are endless, and as the game upgrades, we plan to release more and more GM:FRENS items, using both the WAX and HIVE blockchains. This could include several things such as special GM wearables for your character or a sticker on your rear bumper.
The first special GM:FRENS NFT is already in the early design stages and will be set on the WAX Blockchain, as it is the native chain of GM:FRENS. The special NFT item will be minted with GM tokens. Since @l337m45732 already has everything set up on his side of the project, the NFT can easily be released and GM holders can purchase the special NFT with their GM. The GM tokens used to purchase the special NFT will have multiple use cases:
- 40% of sales will go towards the WAXP-GM liquidity pool on Alcor Exchange, the decentralized exchange for WAX tokens.
- 20% will go towards the GM:FRENS project
- 40% will go to @cryptocompany
- Our part will be split even further: 20% will be going to the team 10% GM will be burnt and 10% staked into the DAO 60% of the GM tokens @cryptocompany gets will go towards an in-game faucet, where each player can claim 1 GM when they log into the game. They will also have the option to BURN their daily portion. Later on GM might even be distributed in reward chests etc.
We are thrilled about this partnership with GM:FRENS and are grateful for their openness to collaborate with us. We believe that this partnership will bring new and exciting opportunities to both our projects and the hive crypto community as a whole.
